The Team
I would like to take a moment to explain that I am not working out all of these kinks on my own. I began the landscape process by hiring a landsape architect to help us create a space between the houses that would drain well and be beautiful and useful. After much research we hired Dave Skillen of Bradford & Associates to work with us on developing this plan. Dave has been wonderful to work with so far, and has proven to be very knowledgeable in developing the land in a manner in which there will be no concerns about heavy rains or periods of draught. We are looking forward to our continuing our work on this project with Dave, and hopefully we will be able to collaborate on many more.Â

Bradford & Associates works closely with Davis Landscape, a landscape installation company that we learned about through a trusted associate. We have met and begun working with both Hugh and Jay from Davis, and we are confident that they are the right fit for this team. Through Davis’s recommendation, we have found two additional team members. One is J.W., a transplanter, who is going to help us remove, preserve and replant as much of the existing flora as possible. Another is Robert Shellnut, a grader who is going to help us achieve the desired elevations for this project. We are looking forward to working with both of these contractors in the near future.
Â
Besides establishing the landscape design/build team, we are proud to welcome Bill Brown, a notable builder in this area, to our team. Bill came to us highly recommended by another trusted source, and we are extremely pleased he has managed to work our project into his busy schedule. We have met with Bill a number of times, and we are looking forward to working closely with him as our construction progresses.Â
Â
While we expect to work with a number of services throughout the course of this project, I believe we’ve established a solid core of committed individuals for this project, and I am excited to watch this project unfold.

Keep on designing!
